CANDLE SAFETY TIPS
Due to the current wildfire risks, we are emphasizing candle-making safety to prevent any accidents, damage, or injuries. It’s important to follow these safety tips when working with candles to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience:

1. Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable, like curtains, paper, or decorations.

2. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting to prevent uneven burning and minimize soot.

3. Burn candles in a draft-free area to avoid rapid flame movement or uneven wax melting.

4. Never leave a burning candle unattended—always extinguish the flame before leaving the room.

5. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

6. Avoid burning candles all the way down—leave about 1/2 inch of wax to prevent overheating or fire risks.

By following these safety tips, you can enjoy candles safely and responsibly, while helping to protect your home and loved ones.
